Osteopathic manual therapy is a gentle hands on therapy that aims to improve function in all systems of the body by restoring balance within. Osteopathy approaches the body as a dynamic unit of function, which means that all systems of the body work together and can influence one another. Osteopathy considers the relationships between the functional systems while searching for and addressing the root cause of the symptoms you are experiencing. Once structural balance and symmetry have been restored, your body can once again self-heal and self-regulate as it was designed to. Whether it is an acute injury, chronic pain or preventative care, osteopathy can benefit your health.

Laura graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) in March 2023 as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and is a professional member of Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN). As part of her 4 years of education, Laura completed 4200 hours of education and over 1000 hours of supervised clinical training and practice.

Laura has lived in Waterloo Region her whole life and attended the University of Waterloo, graduating with a bachelor of science in Kinesiology. She has always been passionate about helping people and has found great interest in the human body and all of its functions. She feels it is an honour and privilege to be part of your journey to better health.
